#26 I, four one, enjoy it when the Reds score more goals than the other team | PL Luton (h)

The Reds. The injury ravaged Reds. I was livid with them towards the end of that first half. Shooting from 40 yards when better options were on. That being said, I thought they played well for the majority of the half, and game. They dominated the ball, passed the ball well, won it back early and stopped Luton building momentum. That second half. Klopp must have gave them the same bollocking he gave the Main Stand cause they came out a totally different team, and Anfield turned it on too. I’ve seen a lot of discourse about the atmosphere at Anfield, and have seen lots of comments basically saying “the fixture dictates the atmosphere”, which I get, but with 6 home games left, 6 more home games with Klopp (excluding cups comps), Anfield can really play a part in getting the Reds over the line.

Some great goals. The captain turning up when it really mattered. That’s what he’s about. That’s why he’s the best. There when the Reds needed him. What a player. What a leader. There is a minor concern they’re leaking goals, but then you look at Man City and they are too. Maybe it’s just the quality of the league. Maybe it’s the Reds just lapsing in concentration. Who knows. What I do know is if the Reds score 4 goals in every game between now and the end of the season, there’s a high chance they’ll win the league. Big one next. Will the Reds score 4? Highly, highly unlikely, and Chelsea have found a bit of form of late, so I’m not sure how I feel about it. I’m a bit concerned that Chelsea haven’t beaten the Reds in a final for a while now, and it’s gotta happen eventually. I just hope it’s not on Sunday. Up the four goals a game Reds.
